Ohu Whakahaere

You will be asked to choose an Ohu when you enrol your whānau here at kura.  If you do not choose an Ohu, one will be chosen for you.

Our Ohu Whakahaere members are representatives from each Ohu.  At the moment they are meeting fortnightly to support the kura operations and to discuss any emerging issues for resolution.  They report on whānau participation on all Ohu meetings and they are focusing on re-energising whānau participation within the kura.  Ohu Whakahaere's role is to support:

* Mahi Whakahaere (Administration)

* Whakahaere Pūtea (Financial Administration)

* He takawaenga (Public Relations)

* Ngā whakawhitiwhiti kōrero i waenga, i waho hoki i te kura (External & Internal                    communications)

* Ngā whakawhitiwhiti kōrero me te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga (MoE contacts)
