  • Te Haerenga ki Kāwhia - Sunday 16th - 20th September. We have attached volunteer forms for our kura wide trip to Kāwhia. The price is $50 per child and volunteer matua, $100 for 3 or more children. It was passed at the last whānau hui that all will be going, however it is not compulsory, but whānau will be expected to look after your tamariki, during that week,if whānau decided to hold your tamariki back. We will be back on the Thursday and there will be no kura on the Friday 21st Sept.

Could the below and anyone else wishing to volunteer please contact Anihaera so kura can complete the Police Vetting Procedure -  

2 forms of I.D. are required - 1 from each category

Primary I.D. - passport, birth certificate, firearms licence

Secondary I.D. - driver licence, 18+ card, Community Services Card

  • Pepa hauora/ Health Profile - We are still waiting on health profiles to be returned. As a matter of urgency, please send them in ASAP.  If you have misplaced your health form, please come into the tari and complete one.

  • Pepa whakaae/Permission slips - Attached are permission slips giving permission for your child/children to attend the Kawhia haerenga on the 16th Sept. The permission slips are due back next Friday 10th August.  We have also included the Kaimanaaki - Volunteer Assistant Forms.  Please only complete and return these forms if you are able to assist us.  Please note, you will need to complete a Police vetting as per the instruction of Whaea Anihaera above.

 

  • Hui Whānau - There is a scheduled whānau hui this Thursday 2nd August, 6pm . We will be discussing a number of kaupapa, in particular our term 3, kura wide trip to Kāwhia. Please ensure you are there. There are some important details that we will be discussing. The agenda is as follows: Inoi, minutes, tono, Ohu reports, finances, Kāwhia, general business. Split in to wehewehenga/syndicates.

  • NCEA Fees - these are due this term and the cost is $76.70 and must be received during August, a reduction is available if for instance you hold a Community Services Card ($20 per student or $30 per family). Please contact Anihaera, if you require a Financial Assistance Form  or alternatively call into the tari.

  • Poitarawhiti (Netball)- The netball draw is as follows for this week. Also check Netball Horowhenua website.

  • 10am ct 2 - WRM Taiohi

  • 10am ct 5 - WRM Rangatahi

  • 10am ct7 - WRM Hinemaia

  • 10am ct 10-WRM Teina

  • 12pm ct 10 - WRM Potiki

    • For chromebook tauira: The parent portal is up and active. You can log on via the following link: http://parent-portal.appspot.com/wrm.school.nz.  You can login via your child's email eg: tute@wrm.school.nz The password is the child's email name and wrm added eg. tutewrm.

    • Kura APP -  For those whanau who have just joined WRM, there is a kura App that will keep you involved in the goings on within the kura. You can download to your iPhone, Samsung or other smart phone. Go to the App store for iPhones, or play store for Androids - e.g. Samsung, type in Whakatupuranga Rua Mano and download the App.
